The environment is in the news and increasingly on the public agenda. If you are

It’s a growing area for Guardian Professional’s events team and our partners, and
we have exciting plans. A recent addition to the calendar is the annual Climate
Change Summit, which reaches beyond the usual debate on the environment, to provoke
new understandings and inspire action.
We all know that reducing CO2 emissions is important, and it’s worth
marking achievements in this area. Sometimes it takes a major breakthrough in technology.
A lot of the time it’s a matter of leading by example or simply small steps that
add up to make a big difference. That’s why, together with the Energy Saving Trust
and the Observer, we set up the annual Fleet Heroes Awards to celebrate companies
that have significantly reduced the emissions from their transport fleet.
